Add
6 docs- Place Add standard shapes to the fig editor. Every shape you place remains separate.
- Parts Save any piece as a reusable part, then place it into any fig.
- Scatter Drag a part across a piece to place multiple, slightly randomized copies.
- Stickers A flat, painted cutout that you can attach to the surface of any piece.
- Draw Trace a custom outline, then build it as a flat or solid piece.
- Details Select a piece to move, resize, turn, rename, show or hide, copy, or remove it.
Build
6 docs- The Select bar Tap or drag to select faces, rings, or corners, and select many at once.
- Pull out Pull selected faces outward, or draw a shape and pull it out of the surface.
- Push in Push selected faces inward to make a pocket or tunnel, or carve a drawn shape.
- Shell Build a fitted cover over the selected faces for hair, hats, and armor.
- Bevel Cut the outer edges of the selected faces back, blocky or round, one step a press.
- Cut Add a ring, chop a piece in two, or take a wedge out of a round piece.
Adjust
6 docs- Faces, rings and corners Every Adjust tool works on faces, rings, or corners. The Pick row sets which.
- Move Move the selected faces, rings, or corners through the workspace in set steps.
- Tilt Rotate the selected ring around its center point.
- Resize Grow or shrink faces, push a ring out or in, or spread corners apart.
- Pinch Collapse faces to a tip, a ring to a point, or corners to one spot.
- Grab & Let go Hold multiple rings to move or tilt them simultaneously.
Color
17 docs- Fill Select faces, pick a color, press Fill. The Effect dropdown adds glow, glass, or metal.
- Palettes Seven named palettes, 28 colors each. Select one and Fill and Paint both use it.
- Effects Put Light, Water, Shiny, Glass, Paper, Cardboard, Metal, or Sparkle on any color.
- Paint Paint pixel art on the selected faces with a pen, fill, shapes, dither, and lasso.
- Smudge brush Drag color across the surface to soften an edge or blend two colors.
- Photos Slide a photo under the fig's sheet and tap to stamp it onto faces.
- Pin to a face Drag four pins onto part of the photo, and all faces or one face take that region.
- Warp it Drag four corners around something photographed at an angle to square it.
- Magic cut Tap a color in the photo to remove it. The removed area stamps see-through.
- Retro photo dither Remake a photo with fewer colors. Two-tone ink, black and white, or the app's palette.
- Photos become pixel art Stamped photos pixelate to the canvas resolution. The fineness setting sets the size.
- Flatten a fig Saved figs rendered flat as die-cut stickers, offered in every photo picker.
- Patterns Apply tileable patterns such as bricks and gingham to faces, at world scale.
- Animated skins Switch a skin to Animated and paint pages that flip one, two, or four times a second.
- Skins Save whole paint jobs as skins. Each copy of the fig can use a different one.
- The Closet Tag parts as clothes, assign each piece to the part that wears it, and dress the fig in up to six saved outfits.
- The tailor Make clothes without building them. Grow a fitted cover, or put a fig on a part.
Animate
11 docs- The low-poly rig Rigid parts, one pivot each, and a bend only where you mark one.
- Rig Say what the fig is, name its parts, and set where each part attaches and turns.
- Preset moves Four blocks of preset moves on one page. Idle loops and Hinge in full.
- Walk & run and Gestures The two whole-fig blocks on Preset moves, their settings, and what a fig cannot do.
- Pose by hand Choose the whole fig or one part, then shape it with a drag or the sliders.
- Poses Ready-made poses for the chosen part, and the poses you save by name.
- Move sets Steps played in order: saved poses, gestures, loops. A scene plays the one you choose.
- Pivot Every part turns about its pivot. Move it from the part's line on Rig.
- Bend Mark a bend area with two taps, from the part's line on Rig. The part curls.
- Attach Attach one part to another. It follows that part and keeps its own moves.
- Playback & physics Frame rate and ease for every move on the fig, then Springy, Swish, and Paper on top.
Basics
6 docs- Getting around The tabs, the camera, undo, saving, and the menu bar.
- Mirror Edits on one side happen on the other side too.
- Reference pictures Place pictures around the fig and build to match them.
- Showtime Full-screen playback with the editor hidden.
- Lights Paint light onto a fig, shape the glow, and light scenes with it.
- The Flat look The Flat render style, its cel light, and its Shading and Outline rows.
Scenes
23 docs- Build a scene Start a scene, place figs, and shape the world around them
- Starter worlds Select one of nine worlds for a scene, from a bare stage to a photograph.
- Everything in this scene Find any placed piece in the scene list and change it on its page
- Top-down view Drag pieces on the map, select one or several, and edit the selection in the World deck
- The World tab Set the base floor, place land, draw buildings, and scatter scenery on the map.
- Land Place a landform on the map, then reshape it with the dials and switches.
- Build a building Draw a building on the map, then select it or its parts to shape and paint it
- Building on hills Set a building into a hillside, or stand its walls on the slope
- Sets Open a set to draw with its pieces, or box a drawn building as a set
- Scenery Scatter plants and rocks with a tap, then drag roads and streams across the map.
- Cliffs and stairs Raise cliffs, cut land steps, and paint the ground one square at a time.
- Digs in Set a placed fig to dig its own flat spot into the land instead of standing on top.
- Atmosphere Set the mood, the light, the sky, the art style, and how the scene is shown.
- Light and shadow The sun and painted lamps cast shadows, and a painted face shapes its own light.
- Night and lamps Set a dark time of day and set which painted lamps cast light
- See inside Open the walls nearest the camera to look into a room
- Scene animation Paths, loops and timing for the figs in a scene. The selection decides the page.
- Words Put words on a flat sheet, and set the turn each bubble takes in Showtime.
- Make a photo scene Place figs inside a photograph, on its floor and behind its front.
- Shiny surfaces Turn the floor into water, or make a placed piece a mirror, water, or a screen.
- Frame it Attach a flat sheet to the camera as a foreground frame over the whole scene.
- Design challenges Take on a character's request from the Inbox and build the place they ask for.
- Screen faces Turn a placed piece's biggest flat face into a small live screen of the scene.
Clips
13 docs- The Clips tab The community's clips by shelf, and where your own clips are.
- Your first clip Frame a shot, press Cut!, and repeat to build a strip of cuts.
- The cut's camera Every cut keeps its own camera and hold, and sets what its figs do.
- The clip card The Camera window with Clip selected, and the band of cuts under the frame.
- Clip organizer Edit every cut at once, and open the share, music, narration, and frame rows.
- Words in a clip Add bubbles, a caption, or a title to a cut, and set how each shows.
- Frames in a clip Add a frame over the clip. The shot changes to the frame's shape.
- Sound in a clip One sound per cut, a song under the strip, and a narration over it.
- Sharing a clip Share a clip as a video, a GIF, or to the community.
- Comic pages Make comic pages from the strip, one panel per cut, and shuffle the page's look.
- Watch and remix The player window's controls, and what Remix adds to your library.
- Clip challenges Answer a brief from a character, with or without a set, and view the entries.
- Voice changers Play a cut's sound or the narration back as Deep, High, Robot, or Gibberish.
The Camera & sharing
8 docs- The Camera Photos, loops, video, and clips from the Camera tab.
- Files to a computer Every file is sent through the share sheet. Save it, send it, or open it again.
- Export a .glb Export a fig as one game file that Godot, Unreal, Unity, and Blender open.
- 3D print a fig Download a print-ready .stl at the size you select and open it in a slicer.
- Export a scene The scene's share card. Community, Roblox, a game engine, your table, or a friend.
- Clothes shop View Roblox clothes on a mannequin. Rotate it, edit the piece, or send it to Roblox.
- Roblox clothes Paint a Roblox shirt, pants, or t-shirt on a blocky body and save the template PNG.
- Roblox accessories Export a fig as a Roblox hat, back item, or shoulder pet with the Studio plugin.
Community
8 docs- The community Browse everyone's figs, scenes, patterns, and clips without an account.
- Start from a base Six rigged figs on the Community side of the Figs tab. Every part already moves.
- Sharing Share a fig, scene, or pattern to the community from its card or the Share menu.
- Your inbox Applause, remixes, requests, and new clips from your makers arrive as mail on Today.
- Applause, stars, hearts, and fans Applaud, star, and favorite shared work, become a maker's fan, and earn star points.
- Your page Open any maker's page from their @name, and write yours in Settings.
- Remixing Copy any community piece into your library. The copy credits the maker.
- Your artist name Sign in with Apple, Google, or email, then roll a name or type your own.
Patterns
4 docs- The Pattern studio Draw patterns, photo tiles, stickers, murals, wall and ground textures, and lens frames.
- The Patterns tab Find your patterns and textures, the starters, and the community's on one tab.
- Pattern sheets Collect photos of a real thing from every side onto one sheet to paint from.
- The pattern shop One display on the Patterns tab shows your newest patterns on real things.
Your library
6 docs- Your figs The home screen's six tabs, the Figs grid and its toolbar, and the New fig card.
- Record pages Flip a card over for its facts, its category, and every action you can take on it.
- Your shelf Mark a fig Finished and it stands in its own cubby on a 3D shelf you can share.
- Ideas Name an idea, collect mood words and the pieces it needs, then start its scene.
- Snapshots Put your fig into a real photo with the floor and the light already set.
- Today's downloads Take three free figs or patterns a day, and collect the sets they belong to.
Learn

- Learn islands A live map at the top of Learn with one island per branch and your figs on it.
- Challenges Start a Learn card and follow its checklist bar step by step.
- Make your version Build your own version after the guided run, then tap Keep it to save it.
Roblox
9 docs- Create a classic Roblox item Paint a Roblox shirt, pants, or t-shirt as a fig. The export writes the sheet.
- Export a classic item to Roblox Download the template sheet, view it on a body in Studio for free, or upload it.
- Create an accessory Build a fig for one of eight Roblox accessory slots and check it before export.
- Export accessories to Roblox Download the .lowpoly, build it with the Studio plugin, and fit it with Roblox's tool.
- Export a game prop Export any fig as a .lowpoly game prop and build it in Studio at the size you set.
- Export to the Ünflat Obby The Ünflat Obby is planned. Nothing on this page is in the app yet.
- The Roblox Studio plugin The free Ünflat plugin for Roblox Studio builds an export on a body or in the world.
- Connect a Roblox account Let Ünflat upload your classic clothing to your own Roblox account. Optional, 13+.
- Ünflat accounts and Roblox Your Ünflat sign-in and your Roblox connection are separate.
Your account

- Back up everything One button saves your whole library as a .unflat file you keep anywhere.
- Cloud sync Sync up sends your library to the cloud. Sync down brings it to this device.
Settings
4 docs- Render styles Four ways the whole app can look. Handheld, Lofi, Flat, and Pixel.
- World resolution Chonky, Balanced, or Crisp. The number is how big a world, not how fine the blocks.
- Sounds and music Sound effects, background music, and vibration, each with its own switch.
- Crash notes A switch, off by default, that tells us where the app broke.
