Resize

Resize scales the selection. Its Pick row sets Faces, Rings, or Corners, and the two buttons on the Steps card change their labels to match. Resize is the first tool under Size in the Adjust tab.

Use the Small, Medium, or Big switch on the Steps card to set the adjustment increment for each press. Every modified face, ring, or corner snaps back to the grid. If Mirror is active, the corresponding faces, rings, or corners on the opposite side are modified simultaneously.

Faces: Bigger and Smaller

Bigger grows each selected face from its own middle. Smaller shrinks it. A corner that two selected faces share moves to the point halfway between the two faces’ results, so the faces stay joined and do not slide toward one another. When the faces cannot shrink further, a notification (Too small to squeeze further.) appears and nothing changes.

Rings: Wider and Thinner

Wider pushes the selected ring outward. Thinner pulls it inward. With one ring selected, a Sides row on the deck controls how the ring scales:

• All sides (the default): The entire ring scales uniformly from its center point.
• This side: Only the tapped side of the ring expands or contracts. The opposite side remains stationary, creating a taper. The highlighted portion of the ring indicates which side will be affected.

With several rings held, they all scale together.

Spacing

With two or more rings held, or two or more separate patches of faces selected, a How row appears on the deck: Each or Spacing. Each resizes each ring about its own middle, and each face about its own middle, so separate patches stay where they are. Spacing moves the rings or patches apart or together, each keeping its size (the gap between two eyes), and the buttons read Closer and Farther.

Corners: Farther and Closer

Select two or more corner dots. Farther pushes them apart from their shared center point. Closer pulls them together. Selecting the four corners of a flat face and pressing Farther flares the face outward. Selecting two opposite corners and pressing Closer pinches that diagonal inward. Unselected corners remain stationary.

Limits

The tool prevents a piece from intersecting itself. If a Thinner or Closer adjustment would cause the surface to invert or fold inward, or if the corners are already as close together as the grid allows, the action is blocked and a warning notification will appear. Any adjustment that would push the piece beyond the workspace boundary is blocked. A blocked press does not count as a step.
