Adjust Adjust phase

Grab & Let go

Hold multiple rings to move or tilt them simultaneously.

Grab is a switch on the Select bar. With it on, you can hold multiple rings. When multiple rings are selected, Move, Tilt, Resize, and Pinch apply to all of them at once. (Applying Tilt to a group of selected rings creates a bending effect. Resize with several rings held offers Each or Spacing.)

Open any Adjust tool on Rings, then tap the Select tab on the right edge of the screen. The bar opens along that edge with Grab, Next ▼, Next ▲, and Let go.

  • With Grab off, a tap on a line selects one ring and deselects the rest.
  • With Grab on, every line you tap adds its ring to the selection, and a tap on a selected ring deselects that ring. Grab stays as you set it.
  • Next ▼ and Next ▲ move the selection to the next ring down or up.
  • Let go clears the entire ring selection.

Bending a piece

To create a curve or curl (such as bending an arm or a tail), turn Grab on, tap every ring in the section, then apply a Tilt adjustment. Tap the lowest ring to deselect it, and apply another Tilt adjustment to the remaining rings. Repeat this process. Each successive ring receives more rotation than the one below it, generating a smooth curve.

Selection limits

Selected rings must belong to the same piece and share the same orientation. If a tapped ring does not meet these criteria, a warning notification will appear.

Tapping Undo preserves the active selection, so a change can be reversed without reselecting the rings.
