Grab & Let go

Hold several rings and tilt or move them together. This is how you bend.

Grab to bend: one ring tilts, several rings held together bend. Press + Grab and the lit ring turns warm amber and stays held. Tap another ring, Grab again, and the button counts up: ”+ Grab · 3”. From then on Tilt and Move act on all held rings at once.

The curl recipe

Grab every ring of a tail and tilt them all one notch. Ungrab the lowest ring (tap it; the button now reads ”− Ungrab”), tilt the rest another notch, and repeat. Each ring keeps a little more lean than the one below it, and the tail curls.

Let go releases everything and returns to one-ring-at-a-time.

Grabs stay coherent

A group can only bend if it makes sense as a group, so grabs are limited to rings on the same piece that face the same way. The app explains when a ring doesn’t qualify. While anything is held, taps stay locked to that piece so a stray tap can’t scatter your work.

Undo is safe here: undoing a tilt keeps your grabbed set, so you can adjust and retry without rebuilding the grab.
