The vase is pure Nudge: one cylinder in, one silhouette out. If the mug taught your hands Grow, this teaches them rings.

1. Stamp the blank

A Cylinder on open floor, a little taller than wide. Potters call this the blank; everything else is squeezing.

2. Squeeze in a neck

Switch to Nudge and tap near the top of the cylinder; a ring lights up butter-yellow around it. Press Thinner two or three times and the neck cinches in.

3. Round out the belly

Tap the middle (a new ring) and press Wider twice. The body swells into a proper belly. (If the ring you want doesn’t light up, tap again to cycle to it, or Slice a new one exactly where you need it.)

4. Tighten the base

One more ring near the bottom, one press of Thinner. That slight taper is what makes the silhouette elegant instead of chunky.

5. Glaze it

One glaze color all over is classic, or open Paint and band it with a pattern like real pottery.

Step back and orbit. A vase is nothing but a silhouette, so every press of Wider and Thinner is visible from across the room. This build teaches you to look while you sculpt.
