Back up everything
One button saves your whole library as a .unflat file you keep anywhere.
The Settings window’s Library tab has Back up everything. It saves your whole library as one .unflat file: figs, scenes, patterns, sets, clips, pages, favorites, and ideas. The share sheet opens with the file. Save it to Files, a drive, or an email to yourself.
To restore, open the file with Ünflat. On an iPad or iPhone, tap it in
Files. On Android, tap it in a file manager. Or use Open a file on
the New fig card. A .fig or .scene file opens the same ways.
Restoring adds. Pieces already on the device stay. A piece that exists
on both sides is kept, and the incoming copy is added beside it with
“(backup)” in its name. Nothing is deleted by a restore.
A backup file restores everything in it, including pieces you deleted. Sync down does not: a piece you deleted on this device stays deleted.
A backup of a few things
The library’s Export makes the same kind of file for the cards you
select. Tap Select on the library toolbar, select the cards, and tap
Export. One card exports as its own file. Several export as one
.unflat. It includes everything a selected scene uses and no
pages, favorites, or settings. It opens on any device with Ünflat
through Open a file, and the toast counts what was added: 3 things
landed on your shelves. See
Files to a computer .
A backup needs no account. Cloud sync makes the same file and stores the copy in the cloud. It needs Plus.
