Your Ünflat account

Ünflat works without an account. Building, painting, animating, scenes, patterns, exporting, and browsing the community all run signed out, and your work is stored on the device. An account adds applauding and sharing your own work.

Signing in

Sign in is on the start screen and on the Settings window’s Account tab. The join sheet also appears the first time you applaud or share.

1. Join the community: three buttons, each with its mark. Continue with Apple comes first, then Continue with Google, then Continue with email. Apple and Google sign you in through their own sheets, and Ünflat never sees a password. Continue with email opens two fields, an email and a password of six letters or more. A new email makes the account. Tap Continue.
2. Setup step: Are you 13 or older? Tap Yes, I am 13 or older. to continue. The community is for people 13 and up. Not yet shows a note that says so, and the sheet goes no further. Everything else in the app works without an account.
3. Pick your name: two words and a number. Tap a tile to reroll it, or type a name under Or type your own. A box offers Ünflat news by email; it stays off unless you tick it. Tap Start.
4. Final step, once per device: whether to show mature stuff in the community. Show me or Keep it hidden.

What the account keeps

Your artist name, the 13+ answer, an avatar if you selected one, and the work you chose to share. See Your artist name and the privacy policy.

Managing it

The Settings window’s Account tab shows your @name and your star points, with:

• New name: select a new name.
• Select avatar: one of your figs becomes your picture in the community.
• Sign out: your work stays on the device. Plus is off on this device until you sign in again or tap Restore purchases.
• Show mature stuff in the community: a per-device switch.
• Notifications, in the app on an iPhone, an iPad, or an Android device: one switch per kind. A maker you follow posts, Applause on your work (once a day), Someone remixes your work · your share goes live, and News from Ünflat (rare). See Notifications for what each one sends.
• Your page: a few words about you and one link, shown on your page. Tick the rules box, then Save my page.
• Hidden makers: makers you hid, with a chip to show each one again.
• Delete my account: tap it twice. Everything in your account is deleted, including your cloud copy. Things you shared stay shared, signed a departed maker.

The cloud sync buttons are on the Library tab. A Plus subscription is attached to your app-store account, not your Ünflat account.
