Dioramas

Top-down view

Arrange the diorama from above, like a decorating game's room map.

The 🗺 map button flattens the diorama into an overhead map that fills the drawer, while the 3D stage stays live above it, so you see both views at once. Every piece is drawn as its sticker in its footprint tile on a dotted grid. If you’ve played a home-decorating game, your hands already know it: drag pieces around, spin them with the rotation handle, and drop one onto the trash can to remove it. Tap the button again to put the drawers back.

Arranging from above is the fast way to lay out a room: no camera wrangling, no reaching behind things. It’s also the one home of move, turn, and size for placed pieces.

The context card: free-form Size, Turn, and Height, then Clip or Stack.

Selecting a piece opens sliders for fine placement:

  • Size and Turn: free-form, beyond the 90° steps.
  • Height: lift the piece up the half-block grid, for cups onto tables and lamps hanging from the Room’s ceiling.
  • Clip | Stack: whether the piece may sink into neighbors or stands on top of them.

Grouped pieces get group controls right on the card, including Move group together.

The map greys out while a piece is being wall-mounted. Walls are edited face-on through the roster ‘s Wall pill instead.
