The roster
One floating card lists everything in the diorama, with a detail page for every placed copy.
The 🧸 roster button in the corner of the stage opens a floating card, “In this diorama”: every placed Flatling in a list, grouped pieces first, each row wearing tiny status marks (hidden, locked, wall-mounted, animated, photo cutout). Tap a row (or tap a Flatling right on the stage while the card is open) and the card flips to that copy’s detail page.
The detail page
Double-tap the title to rename this copy. Status chips flip its basics: Shown / Hidden, Locked / Unlocked, Blocky / Smooth shading, and a color Tag that tints its row and its map tile.
Moving isn’t here on purpose. Move, turn, and size have one home: the top-down map .
- PLACE (Room only): the Wall pill hangs the piece on a wall, and the camera swings to face that wall straight-on so hanging a painting feels like decorating in 2D. Tap again to switch walls or come back to the floor.
- PLAY: two toggles, Its moves (the Flatling’s own part animation) and In the scene (this copy’s diorama animation). See Diorama animation .
- CHANGE IT: Animate and Outfit open their own cards, and Duplicate makes another copy.
- Remove from diorama, in coral, takes the copy out. Undo brings it back.
Groups
Press ✓ Select on the list, check several rows, then group them: grouped pieces move, scale, and rotate together. Build a picnic once, move the whole picnic. A group has its own detail page with Duplicate group and Remove group from diorama.
Backdrops, ground size, and the Room’s walls moved out of here: they live in the Backdrop drawer now.
