Everything in this scene
Find any placed piece in the scene list and change it on its page
Use the Figs tab to find a placed piece and change it. Open it from the Scene menu with Everything in this scene, or tap N figs or N moving on the status strip.
The scene list
The list on the left has two views. Library shows your figs, ready to place. Scene shows everything placed: figs first, then GROUPS, then BUILDINGS, then PARTS. A row shows the name and its state (its move, its outfit, its skin). A group row reads N together. A drawn building is one row. It reads Building with its floors and its parts, such as 2 floors · 31 parts. Its foundation, its floor tiles, and its stairs are part of that row. PARTS lists building pieces that are outside any walled building, each by its piece name (Floor tile, Pillar). Tap a row to select it on the stage and open its page.
With nothing selected the page reads This scene, with counts and two doors, World › and Atmosphere ›.
The fig page
Tap a placed fig on the stage or in the list to open its page.
The three menu rows at the top:
- Wearing selects an outfit for this copy, or As saved.
- Painted selects a skin for this copy, or As saved.
- Pose selects Still, one of the fig’s saved poses, or On the
beat for a fig with its own keyframes. Its last row, Animate ›,
opens this copy on the Animate tab.
- In turn… shows on a fig with two or more saved poses. It opens the In turn window. Tap poses to sequence them. Tap one again to remove it. Done needs two poses or more, and the copy then plays them in a loop. The row then reads In turn · N. No run clears it, and so does Still or a single pose. With a run set, On the beat times each pose to the scene’s tempo.
A fig with move sets adds a Move set row: As saved or one of its sets.
Under the rows are Size (up to 1200%), Turn, and Height, then Overlap or Stack for how pieces meet, one switch for the whole scene. Move a piece on the map . The World tab’s Picked page shows the same rows and dials.
This copy
The rows under THIS COPY change this one copy:
- Show it: Shown or Hidden.
- Lock it: Unlocked or Locked. A piece that came with a challenge reads Part of the story and stays.
- Surface: Matte, Mirror, Water, or Screen. See Shiny surfaces .
- Ground: On top or Digs in. A dug-in copy adds How deep: Level, One down, or Two down. Not in interior worlds.
- Frame it on a flat sheet: In the scene or On the lens. See Frame it .
- Words on a flat sheet, with Types in for its turn in Showtime. See Words .
- Shading: Smooth or Blocky, plus Rounded on a rounded fig.
- Glow on a fig with painted light, and on a building’s window: Casting or Off. While a lamp casts, Light play sets Steady, Blink, Slow, or Flicker. See Night and lamps .
- Color tag tints the row and the map tile. Tap it to cycle the colors.
In the Room world and the interior worlds, a Wall pill is under PLACE. Tap it to hang the copy on the back wall, then the next wall, then back on the floor. The camera turns to face the wall.
A moving fig gets a PLAY row: Play its moves for the fig’s own part moves and Play in the scene for this copy’s scene moves. See Scene animation .
CHANGE IT holds doors: Animate, Skin and Outfit when the fig has two or more, its pose chips, and Duplicate. A duplicate keeps the whole setup and is placed beside the original as Name (2).
Remove from scene is at the end. On a piece of a drawn building it reads Remove this part and removes the whole building. To remove one wall or one door, select it on the World tab’s map. See Build a building .
Groups and buildings
Tap Select multiple… under the list, tap rows to check them, then tap Group, Ungroup, Lock all, or Remove. Done choosing ends it.
A group’s page has Size and Spread dials, its members under IN THIS BUNCH, Split it up, and Take it all out. Size scales every member about the group’s center.
A building’s page lists its parts under IN THIS BUNCH, then PEEK INSIDE (Peek: Whole, Roof off, Front, Follow; Floors with two or more floors), Edit building › (it opens World › Build with the building selected), SAVE IT (Glue it into one fig, Box it as a set, Take apart), and ROBLOX (Ground under it, Send it to Roblox), and ends in Remove building. Shape and paint a building on the World tab: see Build a building .
Backdrops and the ground are not in the list. They are on the World tab .
