Flatten a fig

The photo picker also offers your saved figs, rendered flat as die-cut stickers. Select one and it goes through the same steps as a photo, so a saved fig can be painted onto another fig, framed, warped, or put on a pattern sheet.

Where the shelf appears

Tap Photo in Paint or in the Pattern studio . The picker’s Your figs: flattened shelf is below the buttons, each fig with its cutout thumbnail. In Make a pattern sheet , the Your figs button on the grab strip does the same: the cutouts are added to the sheet beside the photos.

The shelf shows your twelve most recent figs, minus the one you are editing.

The die-cut edge

A flattened fig keeps its die-cut edge, so only the fig is stamped, with no background behind it. Stamp one onto a face and the outline is kept (the logo on a van).

The flat render

The flat render is the fig’s front view. It takes a moment. Then it goes through the Make it yours step the same as any picture: framing, warping , and pixelating .
