Warp it
Drag four corners around something photographed at an angle to square it.
Warp it squares a photo taken at an angle. Select it on the photo ‘s Make it yours step. It opens zoomed to whatever you framed in Frame it.
Drag the four dots onto the corners of the area you want. Drag the handle in the middle of an edge and that edge bows to follow a curve. Hold a dot and a magnifier appears over it. Pinch to zoom. Tap Use this photo and the app takes that region out of the photo and squares it.
The Lens slider fixes photos where a wide lens bowed the straight lines. Tap its number to reset it to 0. The Snap chip snaps the dots to the photo’s edges and to each other. Tap it to turn snapping off.
What it is for
Use it to turn a book or box cover into a flat face for a fig, a poster shot from across the room into a picture for a scene wall, or a stretch of fabric, brick, or wood grain into a Pattern studio tile. The corners can reach anywhere in the photo, so strong perspective is flattened too.
Going back
← at the top of the card returns to the picker. Warp it never changes the source photo. A pattern made from a photo keeps its settings: tap Photo in the Pattern studio and the workspace reopens with the dots where you left them. In Paint, tapping Photo while the photo is on the table does the same.
