Your inbox
Applause, remixes, requests, and new clips from your makers arrive as mail on Today.
The Inbox is a mail window on the Today tab with three columns: From, What, and Kind. Unread mail shows a closed envelope and bold text. Tap a row to open the message. Seven rows show. An Earlier line separates new mail from mail you have read, and older mail is collapsed under a row that counts the earlier messages.
The window opens with Today. Until the mail loads, its one row reads Checking the mail. With nothing to show, it reads Inbox empty. Applause, remixes, and challenges will appear here.
Your star points show as a chip on the Inbox title. The chip animates when the number has grown since you last looked.
The last row of the window is You, with a Report a bug button. Tap it to open the bug report sheet. See Report a bug .
What arrives
- Applause. Someone applauded a fig, scene, pattern, or clip you shared. One mail per piece, with the new count.
- Stars. A rare star, worth ten applause, arrives as its own mail.
- Remixes. Someone made their own copy of your work. The credit line on their copy names you.
- Requests. Design challenges: up to three open each week, each a character asking for a place. Their mail stays pinned at the top until you finish. See Design challenges .
- New clips. When you are a fan of a maker, their clips from the last two weeks arrive here.
- Your shares. A message from Ünflat when a share goes live or is sent back, with the reason. A pinned Your shares row counts your live shares, their applause, and their remixes.
- Your reports. Signed in, a bug report you send comes back as Report received: with your first words. When we answer, An answer to your report arrives with the answer as the mail.
- News. A message from Ünflat. The first mail is a welcome, dated the day you first opened the inbox: Welcome to Ünflat. Inbox notifications for applause, remixes, community requests, updates, and report responses will appear here.
Reading a message
A message opens as its own window: From, To, Date, Subject, then the body. Mail from a character is signed by the character. An Attached row shows the piece with its live counts. One button opens the thing the mail is about (Help out, Return, Go to Clips, Watch it, Open it, or See your page), and Close closes the window.
Viewing the list marks it read. Nothing in the inbox needs an answer from you.
Favorites and applause
Every shared piece has two buttons. Applaud is public and gives the maker star points. Favorite saves the piece to your private favorites row. Clips also take a rare Star. See Applause, stars, hearts, and fans .
