The Patterns tab
Your patterns, the starters, and the community's. Three shelves, all remixable.
The home screen’s Patterns tab holds every pattern you can paint, dress, and decorate with, on three shelves:
- Your patterns: everything you’ve made in the Pattern studio . Tap one to keep editing it.
- Starter patterns: a built-in set to build with on day one. Tap one and it opens as a copy in the studio; the original stays on the shelf.
- Community patterns: patterns other artists have shared . Tap to remix a copy into your own patterns (with the ♥ to like); the credit line keeps the maker’s @name on it.

Photos have a shelf of their own too: see Pattern sheets for turning a video lap or a set of photo angles into one sheet.
One library, used everywhere: the Color phase’s Pattern mode , the ▦ stamp inside Paint, and the floors, walls, and ceilings of your dioramas all pick from these same shelves. One good plaid follows you across the whole app.
