Sharing a clip

Share a clip as a video, a GIF, or to the community.

The chip on the band under the frame opens the Share video face. ↗ Share on Clip organizer opens the same face. It has three choices: Video, GIF, and Community.

The clip share face.

Video

One video file of the whole strip: every cut at its hold, its camera move, its words, the frame, and the whole sound mix (music, each cut’s sound, narration). The file is an MP4 where the device can make one, otherwise a WebM. Its long edge is 1280 pixels at most.

GIF

A silent loop in two grades:

  • Living: the scene’s motion plays inside each cut.
  • Stills: each cut is one held frame.

Words are drawn into both. The long edge is 480 pixels at most.

Community

Shares the clip itself, not a file. Sign in, name it, select tags, and tap Send it in. It goes through the same review as everything else. Viewers watch it in the player and can remix the strip. If a clip is too big to publish, the app says so. Use fewer cuts, simpler figs, or shorter recordings.

Takes

Finished videos and GIFs from this session are listed under TAKES in the Camera window’s list. Tap one to share it again. Each file is named after the scene.

Video and GIF use the frame as shown. Free exports have a small Ünflat mark. Plus exports have none. The Share sound plays when each one is sent.
