Parts

Save any piece as a reusable part, then place it into any fig.

A part is a saved component (such as an arm, a head, or a wheel) that you can reuse across multiple projects. Once saved, you can add it to any fig from the Add tab.

Save a part

Tap a piece to open its Details page. Open the More fold and tap Save as a part. Name the part and choose its category from the What kind? dropdown: Heads, Hands, Hair, Hats, Feet, Tails & wings, or Other. Tap Save. The part is added to your library. The current fig remains unchanged.

If the selected piece has other pieces attached to it, those attached pieces and their joints are saved together as a single part. (For example, saving an upper arm will automatically include the connected forearm and hand.) Skins, poses, and emotes are not included when saving a part.

Alternatively, you can press and hold a piece in the workspace to open the quick menu, which also includes Save as a part.

  • Starters displays pre-made parts included with the app.
  • Use the tabs across the top to filter parts by category.
  • Figs displays full projects that are not categorized as parts.

Tap a part to select it as the active tool. The form head shows the part’s name, the button reads Drop and the part’s name (Drop Arm), and a placement preview will show its footprint in the workspace.

Tap a location in the fig editor, then tap Drop. The tool remains active, allowing you to place multiple copies. To exit the tool, tap a standard shape tile or tap the .

A dropped part imports as new, independent pieces, retaining their original joints, paint, and move properties. If a part is too large for the current workspace, placement is blocked.

Managing parts

Your saved parts are located in the Your parts row on the home Figs tab. A part works the same as a standard fig: you can open, edit, and modify it like any other project.

A saved part can also be used as a brush asset. See Scatter . Flat painted cutouts are managed separately as stickers .
