Draw

Trace a custom outline, then build it as a flat or solid piece.

Use Draw to create a custom shape that is not available in the standard shapes menu. In the Add tab, toggle the switch to Draw. A dot grid will appear in the workspace. Tap the dots to trace an outline. Tap the starting dot again to close the loop. Lines cannot cross.

Flat or solid

When the loop is closed, a new switch appears. Flat creates a flat shape with no thickness. Solid raises the outline into a 3D block and adds a Height control.

Tap Build it to generate the piece. It becomes an independent piece exactly as a standard shape does, and the main switch automatically reverts to Place.

Fixing a line

While tracing, tap ↩ Undo dot to remove the last dot, or tap ✕ Start over to clear the entire outline. Nothing is generated until you tap Build it.

A drawn shape functions as a single piece. You can move, size, and rotate it from its Details page like any standard piece.
