Roblox accessories

Export a fig as a Roblox hat, back item, or shoulder pet with the Studio plugin.

Any fig can export as a rigid Roblox accessory: a hat, hair, a backpack, a shoulder pet. The app saves a .lowpoly file, and the Ünflat Studio plugin builds it inside Roblox Studio, texture included.

Tap Roblox on the Share card and it flips to this page.

Open the fig, tap Share, then For a game: Roblox, .glb, sprites…, then Roblox. The card flips to the Roblox page. The Avatar accessory (.lowpoly) section holds:

  • Eight slot chips: Hat, Hair, Face, Neck, Shoulder, Front, Back, Waist. Select where it attaches on a body.
  • Three body scales: Classic, Normal, Slender. Each gives a different amount of room.
  • Check the size.
  • A line that counts the triangles (the cap is 4,000), gives the size in studs, and compares it with the slot’s allowance.
  • Download .lowpoly, then links to the plugin and a walkthrough.

The file is named after the fig and the slot: a fig named Momo on the Hat slot saves as Momo_hat.lowpoly. If the fig has no name yet, the app asks first: Name the fig first. The exported file will use this name. Type a name and tap Download.

A Game prop (.lowpoly) section is under it, for things placed in the game world. Its file ends in _prop.lowpoly, so the accessory and the prop from one fig do not share a name. See Export a game prop .

The checkup

Before you download, the app checks the fig and names what it finds: too many triangles, open edges, a shape with no thickness, a size past the slot, more than one part, a texture over 2048 pixels. Each finding says what to change. With nothing to fix, the line reads Ready for Studio: valid slot assignment, manifold mesh, merged geometry.

Size

The export is scaled to a wearable size for the selected slot, the same scale on every side. Check the size opens a fit view: a Roblox mannequin with the fig on its slot, and one slider. The readout shows the size in studs. Tap Use this size and that size exports. The fig itself does not change.

Into Studio

Download the .lowpoly, then in Roblox Studio open the Ünflat plugin, tap Build a model…, and select the file. The plugin builds textured mesh parts for the slot you chose. Roblox’s Accessory Fitting Tool then places it on an avatar and adds the attachment points. The file has none. Accessories always export faceted: the Shade setting applies to the app and the .glb, not this file.

What is included

Colors and paint, the move set the fig is playing (the plugin plays it in Studio), idle moves as loops, your skins, outfits, animated skin frames, and saved poses. See Export accessories to Roblox . A pose’s size change does not export: parts keep their true size in Roblox. An On-touch move gets a walk-up prompt in Roblox, and players press E. The note on the page says what does not export: Paper animations (Ripple, Breathe, Curl) do not export to Roblox. and Roll animations play in place. Vehicle movement across a scene requires scripting in Roblox.

What it costs

Wearing it on a test avatar in Studio is free, and so is using it inside a game you are building. Wearing your own upload on your own avatar costs 80 Robux. Selling it adds two-step verification and a Roblox membership. The plugin’s checklist says so before you upload.
