Ünflat in the classroom
Set up a class on one device with seats, usernames, and a closed class box.
For class seats, email info@yeehawtech.com or use the Contact us page.
School mode turns Ünflat into a closed class library on one device. Every student gets a seat, everything the class shares stays inside the class, and no student needs a password, an email address, or an account.
Setting up a class
With school mode on, Settings has a School section. Tap Set up a class there. A new class asks for a Teacher code from Ünflat first. The sheet says: “Setting up a class needs a teacher code from Ünflat. It keeps classes in real teachers’ hands.” Email info@yeehawtech.com for one. The code is only for creating a class; reopening a class asks for your teacher password.
The School seats sheet then asks for a class name, your name, a teacher password of at least 4 characters, and a student list, one student per line.
Tap Make my class. Every student on the list gets a username like sunny-otter. Students have no passwords. Your password locks the teacher desk, not the app.
How students join
Students tap I have a class name on the start screen and type their username. See Ünflat student view .
What a class shares
In a class, the class box replaces the community. It is on the Today tab, and the Community side of the Figs, Scenes, and Patterns tabs is switched off.
- Students see classmates’ approved work only. A share waits in your approval tray first.
- The only outside content is Ünflat’s featured shelf and the Learn cards.
- You approve, send back, or take down work from the class desk .
Figs, scenes, and patterns can be shared to the class box. Sets and clips cannot.
Where the class is stored
The class is stored on the device it was created on and nowhere else. On shared tablets, set the class up on each tablet. Closing a class deletes its seats and its class box from that device.
