Snapshots
Put your fig into a real photo with the floor and the light already set.
A snapshot is a real photo with its floor, its sun, and its foreground cutouts already measured. Your fig stands in the picture, lit to match, with no setup and no tracing.
The Snapshot of the day
Today shows the Snapshot of the day: one photo a day with your newest finished fig standing in it. With nothing finished yet, your newest fig is used.
Tap Build ›, or the picture, to start a new scene built as a photo scene from the snapshot’s stored camera, sun, and cutouts. The photo goes on the tripod, the cutouts become standees, and your fig stands on its spot facing the lens, sized to fit. The scene is named after the fig and the place, and opens on the World tab with Make a photo scene open, ready to rearrange and photograph . Edit it like any other photo scene .
Save it saves the picture as a PNG. View all opens the rack.
The rack
The Snapshots window lists every snapshot with your fig in each one, grouped by pack, with the others under More places. Each card shows the place and a line about it. Tap a card to build the same scene.
The rack also opens from the Snapshots shelf on the Scenes tab and from the A snapshot row on the New scene card.
Stand spots
Some snapshots have more than one stand spot. The Snapshot of the day rotates them by day: some days the fig stands behind the foreground, some days in front of it. A rack card with more than one spot says so.
The tile on the Figs tab
The Figs tab shows the day’s snapshot as a tile in the fig grid after the first dozen figs. Tap it to build the scene.
