A tiny world on a sphere: grow hills, carve seas, and paint biomes. A comfortable second build.

Written walkthrough
A small planet is a great second build: it reuses every phase but rewards a lighter, more sculptural touch. Here is the whole thing in writing.
1. Start from a sphere
Make a new Flatling. Balanced (16³) is the right grid for this. Then place one big Sphere, as large as the steppers allow. One piece is the whole planet.
2. Raise the hills
In Grow, sweep a few small patches around the sphere and press Out once or twice on each. Keep them low and wide: think islands, not spikes. Each face grows along its own direction, so the hills fan outward from the planet naturally.
3. Carve the seas
Now the seas. Select the regions between the hills and press In once, with the Scoop | Flat switch on Scoop; the sea floors stay rounded like the planet, gentle basins rather than square trenches. One step down is plenty.
4. Paint biomes
In Color, fill the basins blue, the lowlands green, and the hilltops a pale stone, tap by tap, coloring-book style. For a little life, open Paint on a green patch and dot in a few darker pixel trees.
5. Export the .glb
Export the .glb when you’re happy,
and grab a spinning 🔄 Turnaround from the
Photo studio while you’re at it.
