Written walkthrough

In a clip, every cut keeps the framing you gave it. This is the same build as the Camera Moves card in the Learn tab.

1. Set the stage

Place a fig on the Figs tab.

2. Open the camera

Tap the Camera tab, then Clip. The strip opens.

3. Cut close, cut wide

Frame the fig close and tap Cut!. The camera is saved with the cut. Move the camera back for a wide view and tap Cut! again. Press play on the strip. The film changes from close to far.

4. Stretch a hold

Tap a cut, then its Hold chip. Each tap holds that moment longer. See Cut cinematography .

5. Jump around

Tap any cut and the stage jumps to that moment. The ring shows the live cut. Adjust the framing. The next Cut! is added after it.

Sound and words attach to cuts too. See Sound and Words .
