Written walkthrough

A clip is a short film shot in one of your scenes, one framed moment at a time. This is the same build as the First Clip card in the Learn tab.

1. Set the stage

Place a fig or two in a scene . Any piece can be in the clip: a fig, a door, a tumbleweed.

2. Open the camera

Tap the Camera tab, then Clip. The film strip opens under the scene.

3. Cut!

Frame the shot and tap Cut!. The moment is added to the strip as the first cut, with its camera, poses, and light. Its page opens in the window with its Hold chip and camera Move.

4. Change something, Cut! again

Move a fig, move the camera, or open a door, then tap Cut! again. Three or four cuts make a film. Tap any cut on the strip to return to it. Its Hold and Move rows are on its page, and Re-cut replaces it.

5. Play it

Press play on the strip. The cuts play as stop-motion.

Next: sound on the cuts, words on the film, and three ways to share it .
