Written walkthrough

The mug is the smallest possible introduction to growing on a curved surface: two presses and the shape reads instantly.

1. Stamp the mug body

Pick the Cylinder and stamp it on open floor. That’s the mug.

2. Grow the handle

Switch to Grow and tap a face on the cylinder’s side; a patch of the curved wall lights up. Press Out and a stub grows straight out of the curve. Tap the end of the stub and press Out again for a chunky L-shaped handle. Chunky handles rule; this is a toy mug, not fine china.

3. Color it

Fill the body one solid color and the handle a contrasting one; the two-color trick is what makes it read as a mug from across the room. Feeling fancy? Open Paint and give it a pixel pattern, or dress it in a pattern from your library.

Want the handle to curl like a real one? That’s the Nudge phase’s department: Grab its rings and bend it. The vase build next door teaches exactly those muscles.
