The instant camera is detail work, start to finish: three sub-face features and one very satisfying tilt.

1. Stamp the body

A Cube, a little wider than tall.

2. Build the lens housing

In Grow, flip to Draw a shape , tap the front face, and trace a square in the middle. Close the loop, Build one step, and the lens housing juts out.

3. Recess the lens

Flip back to This face, tap the front of the housing, and press In ; the auto-inset leaves a rim and sinks a lens-shaped recess in one press.

4. Build the viewfinder

Draw a shape again: a small square on the top, Built one step. Every instant camera has that little tower.

5. Angle the front

The signature move. In Nudge, tap the body’s top ring and Tilt it one notch back. The camera’s face takes on that classic wedge slope, and the viewfinder rides the angle.

6. The rainbow stripe

Fill the body white and the lens dark, then open Paint and run the rainbow stripe down the front beside the lens. That stripe is 80% of the retro.

Photograph your camera with the camera: the Photo studio ‘s 📐 Iso preset was made for exactly this kind of product shot.
