Written walkthrough
The bird is a full character workflow: stacked masses, mirrored features, and a Nudge-phase finishing touch. It’s the first ⭐⭐⭐ card in the Learn tab for a reason: nothing in it is new, but everything in it is used together.
1. Turn on Mirror
Mirror on, ↔ left–right. Wings come in pairs.
2. Stamp the body and head
A Sphere for the body, then a smaller Sphere tapped onto the top toward the front. The head sits high and forward, which is most of what makes it read as a bird.
3. Beak: grow it, point it
In Grow, tap the front of the head, Out once, then tap the stub’s end and Pinch it. Sharp.
4. Wings out
Tap a patch on the body’s side and press Out; the mirror grows both wings at once. For swept-back wings, hop to Nudge afterward and Tilt each wing’s ring a notch.
5. Tail up
Tap a face on the body’s back, Out twice. Then the finishing move: in Nudge, tap the tail’s ring and Tilt it up a notch. A level tail is a log; a tilted tail is a bird about to do something.
6. Feathers and eyes
Fill the body, contrast the wing tips, orange beak. Then Paint two dot eyes. Dot eyes forgive everything.
Give the tail a two-pose waggle on a 🔁 Loop and the bird never sits still again.
